"Driving Excellence" is the best book management book that I have read. In my 25 year career as a banker, CPA and lawyer, I have read numerous books on management. This book is by far the best that I have encountered. For any management team, I think this book is must read.
Over my career, I have had to evaluate and advise many management teams. From my observation, the single most important factor for success in any business is the quality of the management and its management systems.
It is not enough just to have great managers. Great managers without a strong management system can fail.

Many management books and systems only deal with specifics aspects of management. In "Driving Excellence", the authors present a management system that is comprehesive and takes into account all facets of how a business should be run.
I commend the authors for an outstanding contribution to the business community. This book will be a great treasure for the CEO running a Fortune 500 business as well the young entrepreneur starting a new business. In my opinion, this system can be used in any size business.
This is a must read for any manager or entrepreneur.
